This is an extremely rare poster from the Family Dog when they produced a few shows at he Crystal Ballroom in Oregon. There are only two Family Dog posters from this venue with this being the rarest. Most likely the reason this poster is so rare is it was not produced in any large quantity unlike the San Francisco posters and the poster is on newspaper thin paper allowing it to tear, crease and fold. Anyone that kept one to hang up on their wall probably saw its life cycle end quickly.
The colors of this poster are great and as you can see it profiles not only a really great 60s psychedelic band, but also one of the great guitarist of the 60s era, John Chipollina. |
